Sweden Rock have added a fifth stage to this year's event, called the NeMiS (New Music In Sweden) Tent. The complete bill for this can be see here.

Following Ronnie James Dio's death several festivals are expected to pay tribute during the 2010 season. Download, Bloodstock and Sweden Rock have all already re-named stages after the Heaven And Hell front-man, and Sweden Rock are also planning a tribute ceremony on their main stage.

Then on the October Sweden Rock Cruise there will be an all-star tribute concert featuring Lions Share plus guests including Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth front-man), Joacim Cans (HammerFall singer), Messiah Marcolin (ex-Candlemass singer), Ian Haugland (Europe drummer), Johan Edlund (Tiamat front-man), Mike Wead (King Diamond guitarist) and more to be confirmed.

Finally High Voltage have announced that Opeth have moved from the Prog Stage on Saturday to the Metal Stage on Sunday due to "phenomenal fan demand". What they really mean is they kicked Venom off the bill and needed a replacement.
