The 13th edition of Headbangers Open-Air, held in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany, has sold out just over a month before the event.

The classic metal festival, with an emphasis on the 1980s, has suffered several band cancellations this year, but in each case has found a worthy replacement, and boasts a bill featuring Solitude Aeturnus, Grand Magus, Raven, Omen, Virgin Steele, Tygers of Pan Tang, Destruction, Icon and several more over three days.

The most recent line-up change has seen Warmachine postpone their appearance until the 2011 edition, to be replaced this year by Steel Horse. Last week Wolf were replaced by Grand Magus.
