Italy's Gods of Metal, originally planned to be a one-day Black Sabbath show in Milan, has expanded to four days, with Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe and Manowar taking the other three headlining spots.

In addition to the confirmation of a headlining spot at Download which formed part of Black Sabbath's 11/11/11 reformation announcement, the band have now revealed the first leg of their 2012 world tour, including headlining the following festivals:

Inferno Festival launch Swiss edition

Norway's Inferno Metal Festival, traditionally held at multiple venues in Oslo in April, have launched a Swiss edition to take place in March 2012 in Lausanne.

On August 15 one of AC/DC's most legendary performances with vocalist Bon Scott will finally be released on DVD having gone out-of-print on VHS long ago.

Let There Be Rock, until now survived only by the double-CD soundtrack album available in the Bonfire box set, is being released on DVD and Blu-Ray to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its theatrical release.
